Connexion 2013 has arrived

Connexion 2013 has arrived. It is that time of the year when the world is not enough for PGPX. There is a sudden change in focus, from an International immersion program to a close look at the germane issues of doing business in India. The Connexions is one of the best forums where brilliant minds from academia and leaders from the corporate world get together to brain storm over cogent socio-economic problems. As always the theme for Connexions is relevant to emergent India. We are going to analyse issues which are holding India back from its trajectory of high growth. The central theme is “India INCubate: Idea to Action”. In keeping with this, we have four different tracks which tackle various challenges.

Connexion 2013 - 1st Poster

Panel 1 – Bridging the divide: Subsidy to Sustainability

Panel 2 – Redefining Made In India: Low Cost to High Value

Panel 3 – New Media New Rules

Panel 4 – Building India’s leadership pipeline

Some of the business leaders who are joining us in the summit this year are:

Anil Chaudhry, MD & Country President, Schneider Electric

Anirban Dey, MD, SAP Labs India

Kapil Kaul, CEO South Asia, Center for Asia Pacific Aviation

Sanjay Purohit, SVP & Global Head – Products, Platforms and Solutions, Infosys Ltd.

Shrijeet Mishra, COO Bennett, Coleman and Co

Shyam Srinivasan, MD & CEO, The Federal Bank Limited

Zarina Screwvala, Co-Founder & Managing Trustee, Swades Foundation

The summit offers all of us to explore these challenges through high-powered panel discussions and insightful white papers. Participants will also get to interact with entrepreneurs and business leaders who have transformed their ideas into success stories and share rare insights from their journey at the CEO Dinner.

On the final day of the event we have X-Biz – the Business War Game. X-Biz offers a roller-coaster ride for all those who relish problem solving. X-Biz is an economic war game designed to simulate real life scenarios of problems faced by businesses today. This year’s game will be centred on the socio-economic impact of the Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Bill.

This year also marks the debut for the official website of ConneXion, so you can catch a glimpse of the action and details of the events. []

  1. Am I reading online streaming partner correctly? imlive? When I search for it, the site that comes up is not mainstream site

  2. Is there a reason for student activities not being under same domain as IIMA website? Also were there gaps on wordpress because of which new connections site was created. The disparate sites don’t give good brand image.

    1. Hi Shobhit, sorry for late response. no, student activities are not under IIMA website. And we going to put everything on our website. connexion webite is temporary because we wanted to support couple of things which were not easily availbale in wordpress.
